The England captain has announced himself at the World Cup in Russia, and clubs will have to break the transfer record to buy him
Harry Kane is valued more than Neymar thanks to his new Tottenham Hotspur contract.
The striker signed a new deal last month worth a reported £200,00-a-week after scoring 30 Premier League goals.
The Three Lions skipper has announced himself to the world with six goals at the World Cup Finals in Russia this summer – the most of any player at the tournament so far.
But, according to The Sun, the lack of a buy-out clause in his new Spurs deal means any interested clubs would have to smash through the transfer record to prise him away from north London.
The record is currently held by Brazil superstar Neymar, who left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain last summer in a deal worth £198 MILLION.
Therefore, according to data analysts CIES Football Observatory, Kane’s market value is now higher than that of the 26-year-old.
There is no pressure for Spurs to sell their star man, although Real Madrid will almost certainly still remain interested after his goalscoring heroics in Russia.
Captain Kane will be attempting to lead the Three Lions to the World Cup Final by defeating Croatia in the World Cup semi-final on Wednesday night – a game you can hear live on talkSPORT from 7pm.
