Parkland, Florida Shooting<\/p>\n
My name is Danielle Tylim and I am a survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas massacre in Parkland , Florida.<\/p>\n
I made it out alive but unfortunately some of my friends did not. I am angry, grief stricken and determined to honor those lost to this unexplainable act of terror.<\/p>\n
This is the second time that my family has been a victim of a mass shooting.
\nMy 2 older brothers were survivors of the 1999 mass shooting at the JCC in Granada Hills California. My mom was pregnant with me at the time.<\/p>\n
My parents have often spoken of that tragedy and my brothers are emotionally scarred for life and now here I am, !8 years later another surviving victim of a massacre .<\/p>\n
I need to tell this story. How could this happen to one family twice on 2 different coasts of this country?<\/p>\n
