Real Madrid have rejected two big-money bids from Premier League<\/a> clubs for Spanish starlet Marco Asensio, his agent has revealed.<\/p>\n

And reports in Spain claim one of those offers came from Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Asensio is a long-term target for Jurgen Klopp<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Reds boss has already failed with two attempts to land the 22-year-old \u2013 last summer and in January after selling Philippe Coutinho<\/a> to Barcelona.<\/p>\n

The German coach is reportedly still keen to bring the talented attacker to Anfield, but it appears Liverpool have failed again after a third bid of around \u00a3130million rejected by the Spanish giants.<\/p>\n

Asensio\u2019s agent Horacio Gaggioli has revealed Real rejected two \u00a3130m bids from the Premier League, with Spanish sports newspaper AS claiming Liverpool were one of the clubs involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cMadrid have received two offers for Marco Asensio, up to \u20ac150m (\u00a3131m), but the club rejected them,\u201d Gaggioli told Madrid-based radio station Cadena SER.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has an extraordinary future.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can imagine that they come from England because they can afford it without any problems. They could even raise it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asensio, who was selected for Spain\u2019s World Cup squad<\/a>, signed a new six-year contract in September 2017 to keep him at the Bernabeu until 2023.<\/p>\n

It is also claimed his new Los Blancos deal features a \u00a3613million buy-out clause.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old joined Real in 2014 from hometown club Real Mallorca<\/a> for \u20ac3.9million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
