Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has leapt to the defence of goalkeeper Loris Karius, who has hinted he is considering his future at Anfield.<\/p>\n

The young German \u2013 who suffered a nightmare performance in the Champions League final<\/a><\/strong> and has now lost his No.1 shirt to new signing Alisson \u2013 faced more criticism on Monday after making another blunder in a friendly against Borussia Dortmund.<\/p>\n

Having already made a mistake in a pre-season clash at League Two side Tranmere, Karius\u2019 was left red-faced again when he parried a Christian Pulisic shot directly into the path Jacob Bruun Larsen, who slotted home easily for the Bundesliga side.<\/p>\n

American starlet Pulisic, 19, had earlier scored twice as Dortmund came back from Virgil van Dijk\u2019s opening goal to win 3-1 in Charlotte.<\/p>\n

Karius <\/strong>responded to his critics on social media shortly after the game<\/strong><\/a>, while he\u00a0also received the backing of Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casilla<\/a>s<\/strong>, who told angry fans: \u201cLeave the kid alone! He\u2019s also a person, as we all are.\u201d<\/p>\n

And now Liverpool\u2019s Egyptian King Salah has thrown his support behind his under-fire team-mate, telling the 25-year-old to \u201cignore\u201d the haters.<\/p>\n

Karius also spraked speculation over his Liverpool future following the game when he spoke to the German press.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old is now the Reds\u2019 number two following the \u00a367million arrival of Brazil international Alisson from Roma<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Asked about his position at Anfield, Karius told Sky Germany: \u201cOf course that\u2019s not perfect for me, but I cannot say much more about that either.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not know that [whether he will leave before the deadline].<\/p>\n

\u201cI cannot say what I\u2019m doing right now, there\u2019s still some time left.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
