The right-back joined up with his team-mates at the Reds’ training camp in Evian on Tuesday night<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

Trent Alexander-Arnold managed to convince Liverpool to allow him to come back to training with the club ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old joined up with his team-mates at their camp in Evian, France on Tuesday after a post-World Cup holiday.<\/p>\n

The right-back broke into the Reds team and his brilliant form earned him a spot in England\u2019s World Cup squad<\/a> for the finals in Russia.<\/p>\n

Alexander-Arnold was therefore entitled to a break from his club until next week but he has decided to come back ahead of schedule with a view to playing as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a long season and I didn\u2019t get to have the summer rest the other lads had,\u201d Alexander-Arnold told Liverpoolfc.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you want to get back as soon as possible. I spoke to the manager and he understood that I\u2019m young and maybe didn\u2019t need as much rest as the other lads because I was still fresh. He allowed me to come back early.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s maybe a bit too soon to play over the weekend. Hopefully I\u2019ll get a few minutes before the season starts and try to get myself back into contention as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Liverpool have had a very busy summer \u2013 spending over \u00a3170m on four new signings \u2013 Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have made some really good signings. It\u2019s making our squad stronger and it makes us a better team,\u201d the No.66 said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re training with better players then you automatically get better because you\u2019re challenging yourself more. That\u2019s the main goal: to challenge yourself day in, day out and improve yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
