Rabiot caused controversy by ruling himself out of France\u2019s World Cup campaign<\/a> after only being named on the standby list of Didier Deschamps\u2019 squad. France went on to win the tournament in Russia.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Equipe has reported that Liverpool will try to land Rabiot on a pre-contract agreement in January, with the view to him joining next summer.<\/p>\n

He currently has one year left on his current deal with the French club.<\/p>\n
