Andr\u00e9 Zeitoun, is an instructor of Muay Thai, after starting the discipline in November 1980 with Roger Paschy, one of the forerunners of Thai boxing in France. There were very few clubs in France in the 1980s.Known and recognized in the martial arts community for having coached many Muay Thai champions, Andr\u00e9 is a character, a personalty, who marks you from the moment you have been coached by him. Either you love him or you hate him. I do appreciate Andr\u00e9 and I have a lot of respect for him. It was with him that I discovered, learned and loved Muay Thai.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passionate, exciting and in love with boxing, Andr\u00e9 communicates his passion for Thai boxing to each of his classes. I have always known him enthusiastic and motivating in training. Good times also shared by car, on the roads for the championships and galas of Muay Thai attended by the fighters of Team Zeitoun. Always this fervor or even this fever and adrenaline for every fight of the team’s boxers…!<\/span><\/p>\n

It was his dynamic that prompted me to come once, then 2, 3 or even 5 times a week for many years. With him, a single speech and no double talk : “If you come to the school it’s to train hard, otherwise you stay at home”. As Andr\u00e9 says, “Boxing (every style) is a sport that will never put you in trouble. It’s a discipline that gives you back what you give it, that makes you good, that makes you strong. It forges your mind, your physique. It makes you humble and respectful…. It gives you values…!\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9, more than a coach, is for me a mentor… If I have actually retained at least one thing from his workouts and that is my leitmotif on a daily basis, is that you have to be “hard to pain, be hard in your head”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Training at Team Zeitoun is certainly learning techniques, but also learning to exchange and progress thanks to the partners with whom you work. If you come just to fight, you come once but you don’t come back. Learning Muay Thai in the school is reserved for the motivated, those who have had the click to surpass themselves, who have faith and guts, persevering … To the warriors! Team Zeitoun is a big family, where every fighter comes with his experience and level of practice to work together: Thai boxing is not an individual sport. Like other martial arts, it is a discipline where interactions and observation are evolved.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is this emulation, combined with Andr\u00e9 Zeitoun’s pedagogy and experience, that has built the reputation of Team Zeitoun, making it an essential school of Muay Thai in Paris. There are many World\/European champions among his fighters : J\u00e9r\u00f4me Le Banner, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, Johann Fauveau, Christophe Tang, Kamel Chouaref, Totof, and many others… This reputation as a coach of champions, earned him regular request in France and internationally by leaders of large groups, actors, politicians…<\/span><\/p>\n

Building on his success after more than 35 years of teaching and mentoring champions, Andr\u00e9 Zeitoun has chosen to reposition his courses in a new structure:<\/span><\/p>\n
