Cancelo picked up four assists in 26 Serie A appearances last season
Manchester City have contacted Valencia over a potential summer move for defender Joao Cancelo, according to reports.
Top Calcio claim the Citizens have tabled a bid worth roughly €45m (£39.3m) for the Portuguese right-back.
Cancelo has spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Inter Milan and impressed during his time at the San Siro, however it is unclear if Inter will make his temporary spell permanent.
The defender is said to be interested in a move to join the English champions, despite them already having Kyle Walker and Danilo in his position.
Juventus and Wolves also have growing interest in Cancelo
