Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, according to ESPN FC.
The Red Devils are keen to improve their squad after finishing second but an astonishing 19 points behind rivals Man City.
And the club do have Bale in their sights if he becomes available this summer, despite his Champions League final heroics.
Man United are though, reportedly keen to avoid a long saga and will only move in for the player should they be encouraged either by Real Madrid or the Welshman’s representatives.
But ESPN FC suggest Bale does prefer to remain at the Bernabeu if he is given assurances over his playing time in Spain.
