> Greetings, Mr. Wilgoren!

> Many, many thanks for Fox TV’s February 21, 2018 coverage and piece, “Florida shooting survivor, whose brothers survived similar experience, recounts ordeal.” I’m wondering if Fox TV would be interested in doing a follow-up to it?

> If you happen to be looking for any stories, we have our local Cantor and child Holocaust survivor, Cantor Estherleon Schwartz. Her story of escape, coming to America as an immigrant, being bullied, and rising beyond the hatred and violence to create a life dedicated to peace and unity is noteworthy. Especially since she has once again lived to see gun violence touch her family – only this time through her grandchildren (in 1999 and again in 2018).

> Other ideas:
> 1. Esther’s father was from Poland her mother was a beauty queen from Vienna. Both parents were held in detention camps in the south of France (GURS) until they escaped, reunited and gave birth to Esther while hiding under the care of nuns in Marseille, France. Pursued by Nazi’s, the family managed to cross the Swiss border when Esther was 4. From Switzerland, the family made their way to Paris, Ellis Island, and finally to Los Angeles under the sponsorship of a well-known singer.
